FDLRS Child Find services help to promote general public awareness of programs and services available for young children who have or are at risk of developing disabilities. In coordination with the local school districts, FDLRS assists in locating children who are potentially eligible for early school services (PK ESE) under the Individuals with Disabilities in Education Act (IDEA) and links them with needed services.

Children 3-5 years old with developmental delays can qualify to receive services including speech/language therapy, occupational therapy, and/or physical therapy provided by the school district through an Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
